Neyland 1-3 West Dragons

West Dragons came from a goal behind and scored three times to knock Neyland out of the cup at the Athletic Ground.

After an even first half with few chances as it remained goalless, best chance in the first period fell to Nathan Greene whose close range shot was saved by Sean Hannon, the Nomads’ Justin Harding had a clear chance on goal but was ruled out for off side.

Just after half time and Geraint Rees put the Nomads in front, neat build up play from Nathan Warlow, Andrew Davies and Justin Harding allowed Rees to poke home from eight yards out.

In the 55th minute and Scott Crawford equalised, striking a low shot that beat Hannon at the near post.

Greene again went close with a header struck that struck the crossbar. The highlight of the game came in the 70th minute, when Dorian Davies struck a wicket 25 yard free kick which flew into the top corner.

Justin Harding had a chance to level with a free header that flew inches wide of the post. In the 88th minute Paul Jones sealed victory when he headed in unmarked inside the box with the Nomads committing men forward.

Hakin United 4-2 Milford United

James Stanmore scored a terrific brace to secure Hakin United victory over close neighbours Milford United at The Obs.

Last season’s beaten finalists found themselves one-goal adrift at half time, Liam Parr scoring for the Robins on the 30 minute mark,

But after the break Kristan Bennett’s Vikings finally got into their strike with in form Stanmore bagging two goals that gave his side a slender lead. Nicky Woodrow lashed home the third before an own goal that was claimed by Gareth Cheshire pulled one back for the visitors.

With the cup-tie in the balance and with the virtually the last kick of the game, Ben Steele struck to earn his side a home tie with Tenby in the next round.

Goodwick United 6-1 Angle

A stunning-trick by Jonny Horgan eased Senior Cup holders through to round two at the expense of fellow Division One rivals Angle.

The visitors took the lead in the 25th minute when Connor Willis struck from close range.

But the Phoenix Lads hit back with four goals in 15 minutes to lead 4-1 at half time. Adam Raymond equalised with a screamer of a free kick as Horgan added the second and fourth goals with Ben John lashing home the third.

Midway through the second period and Raymond was on target with his second goal of the game and Horgan wrapped up the tie by adding the sixth.

Hundleton 0-11 Merlins Bridge

Merlins Bridge had too much fire power for Division Two outfit Hundleton to cope with.

The Wizards controlled possession and territory for the full 90, and cruised into round two with an eleven goal demolition over the hosts.

Strikers Joe Leahy (5) and Steve McNabney (3) scored eight goals between the deadly pair and there was a goal each for Dai Davies, Andrew John and Paul Thomas to complete the rout.

Lamphey 7-3 Herbrandston

Division One Lamphey came out on top against Division Two Herbrandston in a high scoring affair.

Lamphey have had an impressive start to the season, and Alan Kitt’s team were clinical in front of goal with Sam Southcott (2), Mickey Davies (2), Billy Davies, Josh Dearsley and Rhys Griffiths all found the back of the net.

St Ishmaels 4-2 Narberth

St Ishmaels caused an upset as they dumped Division One Narberth out of the Senior Cup.

The Division Two outfit sealed an impressive win thanks to goals scored by Adam Davies, Daniel Flynn, Brennan Devonald and Lewy Davies.
