Winning his first junior event with an excellent nett 70 was Cameron Thomas, who will collect his medal at the end of year presentation. The summer league is as tight as could be with Jack Jenkins retaining the overall lead by half a point from Ben Fawcett, and Josh Hutchings and Lewis a further half a point back, with plenty of others bringing themselves into contention.

Milford hosted a 'Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire Girls Golf Gig’, organised by Andrea and Roz from the SWLGA. The group had a 45 minute lesson with Matthew Hearne and Elliot from the Pro Shop, then a short stop for lunch supplied by the Jenkins family. The girls then played a few holes on the main course accompanied by Mat and Elliot and Margaret Hicks from Milford Ladies Section, and everyone agreed that the golf and etiquette of all the girls involved made a most enjoyable day all round.
