DIVISION One outfits Angle, Narberth and Pennar Robins have all won their round two ties to progress into the Senior Cup quarter finals.
Angle was given a scare as they narrowly won 3-4 at Clarbeston Road. Scott Richards and Ben Adams scored a brace apiece to seal victory. Jason Griffiths, Danny Clarke and Richard Bevan scored for the Road, and striker Griffiths missed with a late penalty, had he scored that would have forced the tie into extra time.
Tony Evans scored the only goal of the tie at St Mary’s where Fishguard Sports narrowly lost 0-1 against Narberth.
The surprise result was at Glebelands where the home outfit Johnston lost 0-5 to Pennar Robins. A superb hat-trick by Phil Thompson and a goal each by Richard Hughes and Sam Sourthcott secured their fate.
Quarter final draw
Tenby v Narberth
Pennar Robins v Angle
Prendergast Villa v Goodwick United
Neyland (Hakin United/Merlins Bridge) v Haverfordwest Cricket Club
