NEYLAND Cricket Club captain Gregg Miller wants to take on an epic challenge - but needs the help of the Pembrokeshire sporting public to participate in it.
Gregg has applied to be in Fjällräven Polar 2015 - a 300km trek across the arctic tundra.
From April 8, 20 participants will steer a dog sled all the way from Signaldalen, Norway, to the forests around Jukkasjärvi, Swedish Lappland.
Selection is based on an online competition where people upload a photo or video, and a text explaining why they should be chosen. Two from each country are selected - the first by virtue of receiving the most votes by visitors to the website, and the second, based on the strength of application, by Fjällräven Polar.
If selected, Gregg has pledged to donate £100 to local charity - and then use the trip to raise further funds for good causes through sponsorship.
To vote for Gregg, visit www.fjallravenpolar.com or click on the link via his Facebook page.
Voting only takes a matter of seconds and must be done by December 12.
