TESCO staff played in a charity golf day in aid of Diabetes UK held at Rosemarket Golf Club.
The winner was Colin Rogers with runner-up Roger Scrimshaw. A buffet, raffle and presentations followed. A total of £260 was raised with thanks to Danny and Tracey for laying on an enjoyable day. Ladies’ Friday nine-hole competition winner was Rose Taylor 15pts, runner-up Sarah Browning 13pts.
October gents’ winner with 36pts was Clive Richards, runner-up Mark Devine-Banner 35pts, third Mark Lewis 34pts, fourth John McLean 32pts, fifth Scotty Martin 30pts. Twos winner was Tony Deakin on hole 7.
Ladies’ winner was Alison McCormack 30pts, runner-up Amber Deakin 25pts.
Winter voucher winner on Sunday was John Lewis with a nett 73, runner-up Gary Lloyd nett 75, third Chris Hine beating Kevin Holmes on count back with a nett 77. Fifth Peter Morgan beating Justin Holmes and Mark Lewis on count back with a nett 82. Twos winner was Kevin Holmes hole 7.
Junior winners were Michael Strand 26pts, Alex Young 28pts and Harley Holmes 31pts.
