THE latest developments in the Port of Milford Haven's multi-million pound dock 'master plan' will be at the heart of its annual public meeting on Friday.

Port chairman Peter Jones and chief executive Alec Don will host the event, which is open to anyone who wants to know more about the authority's progress over the last 12 months, and its future plans to transform the docks area into a 'vibrant waterfront destination for locals and visitors, creating job opportunities and economic growth'.

Local residents, businesses, users of the waterway and anyone who is connected to or affected by the Port can attend, and ask questions.

The last twelve months have seen a number of developments coming to fruition within the business, such as new buildings at Milford Fish Docks, which is a central component of the Milford Dock Master Plan; the fabrication and successful deployment of Tidal Energy Limited’s DeltaStream device at Pembroke Port; and a range of popular events hosted at Milford Marina, including a fireworks event and Milford Fish Festival.

The meeting takes place at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel in Pembroke Dock on Friday, July 22.

Doors open at 2pm for a 2.30pm start.

A presentation will be followed by an open question and answer session.

All those wishing to attend should register by Wednesday, July 20 (today), and questions can be submitted in advance either by email at prdepartment@mhpa.co.uk or by calling 01646 696158.
