PEMBROKE Castle plays host to three days of fantastic live music this weekend, including Jools Holland, Jamie Lawson, and tributes to Abba and David Bowie.

Tickets for Sunday’s performance from Jools Holland and His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra may have already sold out, but there is still time for music fans to snap up the chance to see a host of unique performers in this iconic setting.

Friday night will see dancing queens and heroes light up the stage, as Revival Abba tribute band, Pop-up Bowie and Tuxedo function wow with classic hits and disco favourites.

Award-winning superfan Paul Anthony aka Pop-up Bowie brings a stunning tribute to the recently lost icon, with a performance of the greatest hits from five decades of the star’s career.

Discovered by Ed Sheeran, number 1 album artist Jamie Lawson will be supported by homegrown sensation Jodie Marie, Into The Ark and Calum Scott on Saturday night.

Signed to Sheeran’s Gingerbread Man record label, the soft folk-pop sounds of hit single Wasn’t Expecting That made him a household name.

Pembroke Castle Manager, Jon Williams said: “We’ve had a fantastic response to the concerts, but there are still tickets available for Friday and Saturday, so we’d urge the west Wales public to act now not to miss a terrific weekend of live music in this fabulous location.”

The weekend is being promoted by Cardiff-based Orchard Entertainment, winner of the Regional Music Promoter of the Year in the UK Live Music Business Awards, in association with Pembroke Castle.

Tickets are available from www.pembrokecastle.co.uk, www.ticketmaster.co.uk, www.torchtheatre.co.uk and www.seetickets.co.uk.
