A 41-year-old man charged with sexual assault in Haverfordwest’s multi-storey car park is to appear at Swansea Crown Court today (Friday).
Andrew John Phillips, of Coxhill, Narberth, made a preliminary hearing before Judge Paul Thomas in July.
He was not asked to enter a plea but at the earlier hearing prosecuting barrister Ian Wright said he understood a plea of not guilty had been indicated.
Phillips’ barrister, Huw Rees, said that was correct and Phillips would say that whatever happened had been with the consent of the woman concerned.
A plea and case management hearing will take place on October 2 (today) and a two-day trial has been listed to begin on November 23. Phillips was further remanded into custody, meanwhile.
