AN ELVIS super-fan from Pembroke is organising his third fundraising concert in two years, to raise money for a project helping people with disabilities.

Twenty-two-year-old Benjamin Price has spina bifida and scoliosis, and for the last six years his only way of getting around has been on a stretcher.

But, from his bed, Benjamin has helped raise thousands of pounds for charity, by organising two Elvis-themed events.

His latest project will see seven Elvis impersonators and one Tom Jones tribute act perform at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel on Friday, July 24.

This time, Benjamin is raising money for the Hawthorn Project, in Haverfordwest.

Run and managed by Action for Children, the project was originally set up in 2000, and offers support and advice to disabled children and young people, their families and carers in Pembrokeshire.

"They have helped me and my family with forms and organising meetings with all doctor who are involved with me since I was seven years old," said Benjamin.

"They help me so I want to gave them something back."

Tickets are £10 and doors open at 7pm. To book, email on ElvisForOneNightOnly@elvisfan.com or search 'Elvis Presley and Tom Jones for one night one only' on Facebook.
